If you got the vamo, the batterys and charger can be used for other devices.

Thanks Kibbster, i was beginning to wonder about all the good reviews i have read about the evic were mis-leading especially since the latest firmware update to 1.2 The latest firmware is great tbh and with later revisions has the potential to keep improving the e-cig. Ok so it's not a mechanical simple e-cig and is viewed as gimmicky by some but if you are into technology then it really is the best of both worlds, vaping and computers Yes im a tech geek kibbster thats why i was having a look at this because as you say it's firmware upgradeable

Probably me just being thick, but I can't see it for that price on the site? You have to click the prom drop down box which knocks £20.62 off

The only issue you might find with the eVic is it only puts out 11 watts. If you're vaping at those kind of levels or higher, you'd want the Vamo - but not many people do! eVic won for me because of the upgradeable firmware - seeing the difference Joyetech has made to the device over the last two updates sold me on it. Not that there's TOO much more it could do, but there's always a chance they'll include multiple profiles and that sort of thing. Bluefish - the eVic battery is an 18650, so it'll work with other devices too provided you have a charger

Just be a bit careful when ordering from Bargainvapour, but due to the exchange rate, the British pound prices quoted on the site is way out. Just went to order one and quoted £52.47 plus £4.43 postage so about £56.90 delivered but the actual price via Paypal is £63.06.
Just for information

Think i may have started a small opinions war People that own the eVic tend to really like it Basically, both devices do broadly the same thing and can be had for roughly the same money - how important the extra features the eVic provides over the Vamo are to you is definitely your call. Likewise looks, power output, etc - you really can't go wrong with either, I think.

Think i may have started a small opinions war Another plus for the evic is you can swap out the std tube for something pretty. If you want to pimp a vamo you'd have to send it to Robby.

Dont rule out getting the head only (approx £38), you can get a chrome body and top cap for it for about 8 or nine quid That is the route I took with it. I think there is another set of Joyetec tubes fit it as well. I have this on order for about £50, really nice body for it and turns it into something a bit special in my opinion
