Hi Matt and welcome to AAEC. The kind and welcoming folks here won't put you far wrong.

The kit from your local vendor looks good.

Regarding clearomisers and cartomisers. I think both have their own merits. So I'd buy at least one packet of Boge 510 cartomisers too, to see which you personally prefer. As with choosing what brand of rolling tobacco you like, clearo's, carto's, tanks and juices are all subjective to personal taste.

Anyway chuck in a pack of cartomisers and you're off to a great start.

Oh, a couple of batteries will keep you going fine. No worries there. It's just that some people will quite happily start off with 2 batteries and then suddenly discover that they also have a Spinner and/or a Twist and/or a mechanical mod (or two) and/or a VV device...

They would be more than good enough for a day, especially compared to your elite - that wont be much more than 180 mAh. On the other hand though, it is a good idea to eventually have a few back ups & even back ups for back ups

If you just click on somebody who has that sig it will take you to the thread for all the info and to make one. Easy peasy to do one up.

Yeh I'm sure once I'm into it I'll be replacing kit from time to time, but will have my old kit as back up.

I don't want this to cost me more than smoking analogues. Altgough by the sounds of it, it may be harder than I first anticipated

It's not Matt. It's just the initial outlay of having to buy all the stuff in one go. Those clero's and heads i linked to, i could (as a heavy vaper) get 3 months out of those 2. If you went through 30ml of juice a week at £20 (top side), thats nowhere near as much as smoking 20 B&H a day.
