I did manage to buy PG from my local boots, it's normally with the cough medicine as you can take glycerine on its own. I've found none of the health shops do VG. I have found a couple of VG sellers on eBay though. I looked near the cough medicines but couldnt see any, I'll try another store. Thanks for the info on ebay, I've just ordered some VG...now its the neat nicotine to find. Cheers |

I went into a large Boots store today and couldnt see any PG or VG and when I asked they said it would have to be ordered in especially and they had never heard of VG. The assistant even went through the medicine book they have and said he couldnt see it, he said they would not be sold off the shelf though. I'm sure I ve read that people have just went in the shop and bought it. Oh weird mate ive also read it is availble from the shelf.
Vegetable glycerine is normally available from health stores.. The one I get is Glycerin BP or Value Health Glycerin BP from the chemists and is normally a lot cheaper. I did see that but didnt think it was the right stuff to get, thanks mate I will go back and get some. |

Tyne, just ask for Glycerine. At my Boots chemist it's kept behind the counter, not sure why as it's neither POM or needing a pharmacist present to sell it.

I'm glad I started this thread, I like some others thought the stuff from the chemist was PG,glad thats sorted out. Now where does everyone get their neat nicotine and carmel flavouing?

It was VG I ordered from ebay, I jumped the gun and got it before I found out the stuff from boots was VG as well. |

Well. if you get a PG nicotine base Tyne you can do a 50/50 mix and get the best of both world's . . . a few drops of distilled water or vodka in 10ml I'd try.

I have 20ml menthol 36mg and its a bit strong so I wanted to cut it with the VG but its a bit thick so needs to be diluted, do I have to use distilled? and how much water? I want to cut the menthol to about 18mg.

Is your menthol 36mg a PG base Tyne? If so you won't need to cut your VG with anything as it will dilute in the PG.

Yes its PG but I just need to know how much to dilute the VG with, I don't want to add too much... is it just trial and error? I might wait until I get home though and open that bottle of vodka thats been in the fridge since last year and dilute it with that instead of distilled water. |
