Got to get more soon any way coz my Igo-Ls won't screw on to em any more. In fact they won't stay on any thing I have. I think the Igo is stripping the top thread off every mod I have, because every thing else will tighten except the Igo-Ls. I think I am going to super-glue them onto my next ones so the threads don't get stressed. I`m gettin some of that, the threading on the mods is usually brass and with it being such a soft metal, the Stainless Steel atties are going to do that over time

That's what I was thinking, I think the Igo-L is a slightly finer thread and is ripping the threads on my mods. Strangely though it's only effecting the Igo everything else still screws on. Also I finally succumbed to using the ego-510 adaptor on my vamo so I could still drip. but that won't screw on either any more. Looking now at getting the Nimbus and DRA XL drippers

Got the IGO L today and having the same problem screwing it onto the Vamo
The idea of a 510/Ego adapter is my next move.....Good idea Ballsy
The threads on the IGo L are very fine......
Shame coz it vapes for England (Or in Robby's case Wales)

My first attempt at etching :-) If you look at the top of the tube just under the threading you can see where I have etched the copper off the tube to reveal the brass underneath, then gave it a good buff, shining nicely lol. The next step is to cut some sort of design or lettering onto the tube and see how that works out. I think the etching time on this photo is a bit too long, so hard to time it right, especially as the house was freezing today with having no power for most of it. I need to time it so the copper is just about etched away, maybe leave a small amount on there that can be buffed away easily. Got a lot to learn, different methods to. Pleased with this though as my first attempt :-)

Ash kindly donated some old chrome vamo tubes, after a bit of work, got one down to copper and the top down to brass and sat them on top of a black chrome bottom, what do you think guys. Learning sooooooooooo much about using the Dremel for polishing etc. Thanks again Ash, top bloke The cat however, wasn`t impressed at all Ash
