Hi all, I love asking this question, I don't know why!
So, Jaffa Cakes - cake or biscuit?
This is your view, none of the 'taxed as a cake' etc, what do YOU think? Does a cake get served in a packet like Jaffa cakes? Would you have one for pudding like a cake? Would you have one with a cuppa like a biscuit? Let us all know!
I always consider them as a biscuit myself!

A cake gets hard when it goes stale. A biscuit gets soft when it goes stale. A Jaffa cake is therefore a cake

A biscuit is a biscuit only if you can snap it, "apparently" and the fact its called a Jaffa "cake" is self explanatory.

It is a crossbreed, we have labradoodles and many others of the like, so must this dog be one or the other? whichever it looks/acts most like?, therefore it a Jaffa Cake must be a ciscuit or biscake.

A cake gets hard when it goes stale. A biscuit gets soft when it goes stale. A Jaffa cake is therefore a cake Jaffa cakes don't last long enough to go stale

Jaffa cakes should only be eaten when they have gone stale, the soft sponge doesn't work. But leave the paket open for a couple of days and the cake gets a nice crunch to it.

Has the cake not become biscuit at that stage?

A cake gets hard when it goes stale. A biscuit gets soft when it goes stale. A Jaffa cake is therefore a cake +1 for Cake for the same reasoning! Do like to call them biscakes myself tho...
