Thanks for all your help so far and the warm welcome OK so it seems like the best option is one of the starter kits from vape escape (sold on that) my question is is the Riva the best option and why (I'm a little slow on the uptake!) compared to the Vape Escape Vision 900 or VE Vision 1000 Ultimate or does it just come down to best value and the others are just the same simply they cost more? Sorry in advance for what will be the start of a long line of stupid questions and we've not even got on to the bits I'll need to go with it and the juices yet!

The Riva is the most recommended as it was put together with new vapers in mind, it's good value and everyone who buys it seems to be very happy with it You won't need any other 'bits' with the Riva to get you started apart from juice! Nothing wrong with those other kits though

right - sold on the Riva Next set of questions!!! (I did warn you!) 1. Looking at Romelee's guide I think i'll go with Clearomizers - Am I better getting a few so that I can try a few different juices etc and have ones drying whlst the others are in use? If so which ones? 2. I was told that certain bits need replacing every few days / weeks - is this correct and what bits? 3. I'm a methol smoker now so what juices would be a good starting point? I'm also presuming these come ready to use as someone I was talking to early said I have to mix VG & PG but I have no idea what these are!

1. It is a good idea to have 1 or 2 extras. If you spend all day wit the same flavour then it loses its appeal, always good to swap and change. You don't always have to wash them after use btw
2. Yes normally the atomiser part needs replacing. Yes after a few days if you constantly use the same clearo miser. If you swap and change them then the atomisers last quite a lot longer. Might be a good idea to add some replacements onto the order. Don't go overboard though.
3. They are talking about making your own e liquids, there are plenty of premixed liquids out there. As said before maybe a few small bottles of grizwalds to start you off. FYI I never touched menthol cigarettes but love menthol flavours. Really, have a look at some flavours and get some that sound nice to you, but whatever flavours you choose, start with small bottles in case you don't like them.

I'll leave it to someone else to recommend you some spare clearomisers, spares are good! A clearo could last between a week to a month! The juice comes ready to use you don't have to mix it with anything although some of us mix our own juice! order some small bottles of juice to try, there are a few menthols here, anything that says 'artic' will have menthol hints to it www.vapeescape.co.uk/grizwald%27s-5ml-samplers~29210mls of menthol here www.vapeescape.co.uk/menthol~43

Edit: looking at the clearomisers in the riva kit the whole unit is replaceable as opposed to just the heads.

It looks like the good folk on here have you sorted out for your kit, so I'll just say, hello & welcome. Also, happy postie stalking & good luck with giving up those cigs when your kit & goodies arrive.

I never liked the look of those other kits anyway. I find joyetech pricey. I have to admit to being a Riva fan (well, ex-one anyway) and a bit of a Vision fan too!
