What a story! Must've been terrifying! I never thought I'd ever give up the smokes, but almost a year on and I can't stand the smell of ciggies anymore. Stick with it, plenty of options out there, I still get excited when I'm waiting for a new device to arrive.

Thank you all for your kind welcomes and wishes.
I had my final x-ray at the hospital today that showed a fully, 100% re-inflated left lung and when the specialist asked me if I was still smoking I took great delight in telling him
"no, I've packed that lark up."

Some of you have asked what I use for vaping; atm I'm using a 10 Motives and an E-Lites, but that will change in about 12 hours when the postie delivers my Innokin i taste vv kit.

It's interesting to know that vaping did not affect the recovery of your lung too.
I know it shouldn't, but it's still reassuring to hear it from the horses mouth so to speak.

Did you tell the hospital you had switched to vaping?

Congrats, and good choice on the Innokin there - it was my first proper PV (the express version) and I still love it

I didn't tell them outright, but I had mentioned it at an earlier appointment when I was using the disposable and specialist thought it was a good idea, said it was a lot better than inhaling smoke.
