There's a huge percentage of new users who do start off their vaping journey using a cigalike . . . . because of that very fact.

I'm not a fan (of the name) , but for the time being an e-cig has got to be the leading contender for names in terms of getting people vaping.

The fact is, as far as the EU, the general public and the world in general is concerned, Electronic cigarette or ecig is the general term now. The ship has sailed ladies and gents and if you want to refer to them as anything else that's your choice, but you'll probably end up having to use the term ecig so that new people know what you mean!

On the negative side, there is 2,500 differences between an cigarette and an e-cig.

On the positive side there is just one difference.
They look different.

So like it or not, to a non smoker's point of view they are both the same,
because they both do the same job. Indeed they are even used the same way.

It is only us, a minority, who consider them any different to smoking cigarettes and by definition want them classified as something other than smoking.

Personally I look on vaping is just another form of smoking.
Yes it is healthier, cheaper, more interesting and less contaminating, but at the end of the day it is still doing for me what cigarettes were doing for the last 50 years.
They are both nicotine delivery systems.
And so, will be viewed the same by the majority of people.
Cig or e-cig. The choice is there for smokers, but at least, today, there is a choice and we should all be happy that, that is the case.

But I doubt anyone wants to call Jogging with an Ipod "E eating"
Or watching a screen sat on a bike whilst at the Jim "E chocolate"
No one ever suggested a nicotine patch should be called an "Elastoplast Cig"
I generally call my Vamo "the boiler Room" - but that's just me.
