Thanks Blue, sorry we crossed posts Hmm,so £60 for the i-atty then.Oh well,i think i should just buy it and stick it on the Provari.Atleast then i can see what its like and buy a GGTB further down the line if i feel the need.It should look pretty good on the Provari.

I'm still torn between the I-atty and the bulli tank, no price on the bulli yet.

Blue, I'm quick but I don't do accurate Ian, I LIKE ADORE the simplicity of the GGTB apart from the classic beauty of it. I can't believe such uncomplicatedness is for you. I don't expect to get an Iatty when they're released and in truth, I'm happy for others to trial the thing, so when I get one it'll be spot on and worthy of my baby If I was mod junky like wot you are, I'd be going for the Iatty and get the GGTB any ole time

Even with it tarnishing, I wouldn't let it go for that money, superb bit of kit. Battery options are great too.

If i remember correctly the Provari was about £110.I still love it and have had no problems with it at all.Its also hassle free and all adjustments are done in seconds.Only thing that bugs me is if it ever did bugger up i have to send it back to the US.Ive got a backup VV so its no big problem.I think the key to the Provari is using it with high drain batterys tbh. Most people who have had problems have tried using inferior batteries and buggered it up.

Its imperative in the Provari to use the high drain AWs if possible, as the Provari has boost circuitry for when you adjust the voltages.Ive heard many a tale of people popping in a standard Trustfire battery and totally buggering it up. Any normal mods are fine as they dont have boost circuitry.

Indeedly so, yes - it's almost an absolute that you use AW IMR 18650s or 18490s in the ProVari - those are the batteries it was designed around, and I know of way more than one that has gone to the bit bucket in the sky because their owners had used lesser batteries.
Clutter, those 17670s are probably protected - they're not high drain, although if they're AWs, they're more capable than the run of the mill ****fires...
Oh - and my GGTB (just arrived this morning) is all shiny silver finish - not a square millimetre of brass or copper on it.

Just to add to this- the iAtty will pay for itself in the long run. No more rooting around for another atty. Add to that the option to tailor the resistance to your personal preference, what more could you want. Did I mention the 5ml capacity? As for the GGTB with it being an all mechanical mod it gives a great sense of security. Not a lot to go wrong on it and in the rare case it did, it's easy to fix. On top of all this you have the added security of the GG's being very popular so if you ever want to sell you will always find a buyer.

Im convinced now,i want a GGTB plus i-atty.Like you say Lee, if ever you did choose to sell, it would be no problem at all.Only one question now is,how do you make up a new atty?is it the same concept as the Bulli? You just buy some wire and wick and then how ever many turns of the wire alters the resistance of the atty?I cant see how it can be any different than that tbh.If thats the case then it will be perfect for the Provari,as you can make one up then check the ohms on the Provari once done.Hmm,i think its gonna be excellent on the Provari, though will make it a fair old size.Who cares though,i want one
