UDT-L MOD goes stealthy, joins the Army ;-)

Got a bit bored with mutiliating my Vamos so had a look at the UDT-L mod which was already looking boring lol. Turns out when I found it, it had already gone commando and joined the Army . If you have a bit of a think about it and have a dremel, it is amazing what you can come up with. The Atty is a sub £4 delivered from China dripper with a reasonable size well in it. I bought it as Stanless Steel....yehhhh right . But really wasn`t expecting anything more than plated. I am kind of glad it was now. I am chuffed to bits with it to be honest. There is just £14 worth of hardware there and all it needs is some juice and a battery, so come on guys, get creative lol. It is not a totally mechanical mod, it has a switch and a few centimetres of wire in there (replaced - much to thin). I`ll maybe put a coat of clearcoat car enamel on it, not sure. Quite like buffing it up really and any scratches can be dealt with easier if you dont have anything to take off (enamel) and re-apply afterwards.

Only the outside of the atty has been messed about with, all internal surfaces remain untouched, dont want any copper or brass getting into my body obviously. This may be one of the only times that a cheap black drip tip actually looks the part lol.






Why do they hide that gorgeous copper and brass? I think I have a fetish for it lol.

I had a pic, I started a thread ages ago to show it off, but the pics seemed to have vanished from the web.

It's just a LT wrapped in camo'd sticky plastic. But it looks good. Well I think so.

it was weird, whenever I started to do the tube bit I thought it would be nice to have some sort of cammoflage look and as I was dremeling away, it appeared before my eyes lol

I'd buy one just to polish but no spare money at the moment. Maybe one day eh.

 It`s cool, there are four layers there, the dark brownish (very thin), then chrome, then copper and finally brass. I didn`t go down to the brass, thought it looked great the way it looked with the copper.
