It depends what ratio you like to vape at. Bearing in mind that your flavours will be PG based it can be difficult to achieve less than 60 or 70% PG with some recipes. If you want, say, 50/50 ratios then you'll need some VG nic too

i like 70/30 which i think is PG/VG

I get vg nic you can thin things down towards the final stages with a few drops of vodka or distilled water if its needed.

I mix 60/40 pg vg diluent together into a half litre bottle, From this I fill a 250ml litre bottle I use to mix with.

I dont get any wicking trouble and no longer put 5% vodka to the mix like I used to when I first started mixing.

I get VG base for 3 reasons Spikey, I like the underlying sweetness VG has and I'm now PG sensitive so other than my flavourings, all my mixes are VG. Vapour production is high on my ' want ' list, which VG also gives me.


None of the above may apply to your criteria, how about buying a small bottle of each to see which you prefer?

well i was going to get 100ml PG anyway. i do like a throat hit!
i suppose mixing with VG is a lot easier?

i'm going to get both i think. that way i can find my preference. either way, it wont be wasted unless i produce something that looks and tastes like tar

will get a half bottle of vodka too.... just in case ....

my thinking is, if i make something awful or it doesnt quite taste how it should, i'll just chuck in some stevia. sweet is always nice
