Another stupid question..

I bought a couple of lcr14500 batteries for my box mod.
Haven't got a charger yet but was wondering if the batteries came with an initial charge. If they do, then it seems that the mod doesn't work...
Can I charge them with a regular charger or do I need to wait until I get a proper one and can I test whether the mod works by bunging in a regular AA battery.
The mod doesn't seem to have any little lights anywhere.

No Lynda, those batteries don't come with any charge at all.

And a second loud NO don't try charging any lithium battery with a regular charger.

A regular AA battery won't have a high enough voltage to power the mod, so another no I'm afraid.

I bought my charger for the 14500's that I use in my GG from Smokejuice. Scroll about half way down the page of the following link & it's the first charger you come to :

I know what happened, I posted the link to the 510 charger on Pixie's thread. Then went off to find a link for a charger for Lynda. Came back & pasted in here, not realising I hadn't copied the new link. Then when I saw your post about it being the wrong link - I forgot what thread I was on!

I've ordered the necessary so won't know if the mod works until that comes through but it does look as if the little light is missing..

I do seem to have a knack for getting the 'once in a blue moon' duff stuff tho'...

Seemed cheap at the time..

I really must acquire some patience from somewhere.
I'm sort of eager to get everything I might conceivably need before people stop selling it. I would imagine some suppliers won't be importing stuff for much longer so stocks could become low.
On the other hand, does anyone lnow for certain that the equipment is going to be banned? Hard to see how that could be justified, even by government standards..

Lynda, I've got a Garry Dibley passthru & it's brilliant, especially for the price. It's the type of passthru that never needs a battery.

Scylla, aren't the box mods just similar to a Janty stick?
