cigarette strength V vaping strength

Does anyone know the nic strength of the average cigs, B&H,L&B, etc
Looking at some of the vaping suppliers e-liquids some say high is 18mg and some as high as 36mg.
I don't want to vape higher nic than I used to smoke, although I did smoke small cigars and rollups for a while and I know they were quite high, but it would be useful for me to know so i can cut my liquid or order lower nic content.

It's a funny thing this. Although my wife and i are on e cigs my son isn't. He's still smoking his golden virginia rollies. When he comes to our house we don't mind him smoking in the kitchen/utility area although he keeps saying he'll go outside. Well, the other day i offered him a go on my xp900 (yeah baby) he took a drag and coughed and coughed. And told me thats harsh.....24mg gold virg. Yet when i had a puff of cigarette my mouth....no..my whole being seemed to be overwhelmed by the awful awful tasting thick overpowering smoke.

Just thought i'd share that.... soz tynesider.

I often look at a rolly in the ashtray as all my other family smoke and think shall i lol.I just daredent cause i know people have been saying how bad it tastes

Yeh don't have one raochieuk, I tasted one about a month back that i found in the side pocket of my bag, I felt a dizzy vomiting feeling go from my mouth to the tip of my head and i felt bloody awful all night shift!
I think some smokers who try someones vape for the first time fall into the trap of sucking on it hard like a cig, which we all know thats not what your do, hence the harshness and ' I aint smoking that garbage comment'.
Oh well just fill your lungs with tar then!

One other question, if vaping was outlawed and you couldnt get e-liquid and had your e-cigs confiscated by the vape police, would you go back to smoking cigs?
I don't think i could even if I was desperate for a nicotine fix.

As a rough guide, off-the-shelf fags contain around 8mg of nic, around 1mg of which is "delivered" to the bloodstream producing a blood nic level of 30ng or higher. Preliminary studies are suggesting that 18/24mg juice does around the same, but over a longer timescale to initial peak. Which is prolly why I get through around 10ml of 36mg a day.
