Drunken State Destruction

And so, last night the Mrs went out to go cheer a friend from work up, she said she was only having a couple because she has her 1st dress fitting this morning at 9.30. I knew that wouldn't be the case simply because of who she was going to "cheer up"

"I'll be back at 11!" she said as she kissed me before getting into the taxi. That was the last time I saw her sober.

11pm came and went. I managed to entertain myself watching that new series on Sky about the world with no electricity and then a few episodes of Family Guy before starting to drift off watching American Dad.

At roughly 1.30am I heard the door go, she was back... reeking of bacardi and coke and stumbling about like a newborn deer.

She immediately went to the kitchen and started to scoff the leftover tuna pasta bake I made for tea while talking a load of garbled bollocks about the night she had.

She then went though her bag and empted it onto the counter. Among other stuff, out fell her Ego-T and CE5 in about 3 / 4 bits.

Somehow while she was out, she had managed to unpop the button assembly from the battery housing, twist the wires together causing a short as well as break the CE5 in half. on inspection of the battery, it looked as if the wires had got that hot the plastic insulation melted, but somehow the battery did not explode!

I've seen youtube videos of what can happen when they do go bang, shes just bloody lucky it didn't happen to her!

I have a few broken batteries which I will have to make "something" workable for her before investing in something a bit more "drunk proof"

I might post a pic or two a bit later of the remains of her set up lol

The only thing I have done is unscrewed the base of the CE5 from the eGo T head



And in this one (Auto super macro with led flash) you can see the wire has actually melted stopping the battery from going boom!

Wow hats off to mrs CV , I'm good at that sort of thing but even I can't manage that

I'd say Mrs. Chiller should be relagated to disposable 1-piece cig-a-likes next time she goes to cheer her friend up

At least it was only a bit of cheap kit , happen its a good job it was to.
