Hi, to everyone I have just found this forum today. I only discovered e cigs last week when a guy was selling them on my local sunday market. When I got home I did some research on the internet I took the plung and ordered a tornado tank starter kit I have been using it now for the last three days.
The problem I am having is the pre-filled cartridges that came with the kit were tobacco flavoured and I hated the smell and the tast of them. So I ordered a few sample bottles of different flavours fruit, menthol, cherry cola and some others and RY4 and RY5 that everyone seems to rave about but when I smelt them and tried them it was still the horrible smell and tast and most of the fruit flavours seem to be lased with the same horrible smell and taste. I found an apple flavour from totally wicked which is not to bad and at the moment I am using menthol which is bareable. Would it be the nicotene content that is giving the bad taste and smell.
I am going to order a few samples from James any recomendations would be appreciated preferably without the tobacco taste and if I go for a low nicotene would it have more flavour. Could someone also tell me do I need VG only, 50/50 or mostly PG as I do not know which one to pick.
Thanks in advance sorry this has been so long winded. Any help would be very appreciated as I would really like to stick with these and give up the fags.

Sheilsy - you should visit this site more often as you crack on into vaping. The amount info you can glean from sharing your experiences with others is huge.
Have you got another atty to try... I wonder if it's that thats giving you orrible taste. Some flavours are a bit much. But it sounds like something else is wrong if they're all "orrible".

Hi, just a little tip. To really get your tank wicking properly take a couple of draws without pressing the button. You may need to repeat a few times and then hopefully all the nasties will go away, Good luck and don't give up they can be tricky to start with

Hello & welcome Sheilsy . . . I'm wondering if your tank atomiser needs to get wicking properly as they can take a little time to get going properly . . . have you tried drizzling a little juice around the circular inner and leaving it to soak in for a wee while. Also, it's worth just checking that the atomiser prong has fully pierced the hole in the plastic end cap.

Hi Sheilsy, welcome If you want a totally fruity flavour, James does a few gorgeous fruit ones that I would personally recommend. Strawberry, lemon, orange and blackcurrant are all totally gorgeous I'll leave tank advice to the experts.

Hi Shisely. First of all a very happy birthday.. Good thing you got a tank as your first choice it is a good one. But the tank atties sometimes play foul regarding the tast of the vape. I would suggest you go to www.electravape.co.uk and order some clearomizers... They would fit your existing batteries nicely.. Try it once and check out the difference. Some times the difference can be a lot

Hiya Shielsy, welcome to the vaping world. This vaping malarky can sometimes be a bit of trial and error. I don't get on with the Tornado tanks, as much as i wanted them to work, i hav'nt had a good one yet. No flavour and don't wick properly for me. Also, it can take a while for flavouring to come through any atty if you change flavours but if you've burnt the wick, it's hard to get rid of the taste. Don't give up mate, shamreez is right, try a clearo or a different tank. The i-tank (imo) are better than ego tanks and also the new 510-t's are good although they only hold half the juice of ego tanks. The 510-t's give double the throat hit and flavour of the ego too. As i said, it is a bit hit and miss but there is plenty of help and advice on here to see you through it all! Also, pure VG juices don't wick as good in tanks, it's too thick.

Hi, Thanks to everyone who has replied it was really helpful. I can now try a few new things thanks for the happy birthdays but I am trying to forget them now at this age. I understand now that the VG is to thick for the tank so would you recommend 50/50 or PG only so I can get an order placed today for some new flavours.
Thanks again Sheilsy

PG only would probably be your best bet but someone with better experience may be along to tell you otherwise soon. 50/50 would still be too thick i reckon.
