Layout Testers wanted

Any volunteers to test the new skins I've been working on? All you need to do is go to this link.

testinitout.proboards.com/index.cgi

You will need to register to be able to see all of the different skins. If you can have a mess about on the test forum, make sure everything works and post in the feedback thread there, or in this thread, that would be great. Thanking you!

Just to add to Lee's above post. On his test forum he has my skin as the default skin but different headers & footers so the menu & PM notification shows up differently.

To check out Lee's skins, after joining, you need to go into your profile & select & save the alternative skins one at a time. I'm more than happy to copy over Lee's alternative skins to here so you all have a choice. However, there is no option for having alternative headers & footers & my main worry about Lee's PM notification is that a lot of members could miss the fader.

Edi - I've transferred over Lee's skins so you all now have a choice of skins here but will keep my headers & footers to begin with until we have some feedback.

If you're happy with the skins as they are I don't mind you leaving out the PM code and just using them.

Also they're your skins now for your forum, so any changes you want too make to any of them are fine with me. I won't be offended.

Thanks Lee I'll leave them as the way you created them though at least for now. Would be interesting though to get some feedback on them from folks that are using any of them

Scylla, go to your profile then click on modify profile at the top. Scroll down & under account preferences, there is a drop down box next to "select skin". My skin is set at default but there are now 3 others in the drop down box (designed by Lee) to choose from - just click any of them then scroll down to bottom of page & click on "modify Profile".

Sorry Scylla, I thought the font was chosen to be used. I can always re do it with another one and I can do another skin with softer colours too.

Lee, i love the banner you have created & from PM's I've had as well as posts on here, others love it as well

Dee, if you are trying to log in to the link in Lee's Opening post, then it's a completely separate proboard to this one so you would have to register to log in.

However, as I've now transferred Lees skins over here, you can try them out by just going into your profile & following the instructions in my post #6.
