My first mod was a ProVari. The second was a Zmax (forum co-op buy). The third was a Vamo (s/h from an AAE-C member) Forth and fifth are the Tzmaxs (and they have still to arrive. Another forum co-op) I think the cheapest was about £12 and the dearest was about £180. I also have 2 box mods. One from Warlordxxx and a Gary Dibbly again s/h from a forum member. In all of these, when working out my daily costs and because these are now second hand, I have valued them at half the cost price, although I could probably get more for them if I decided to sell them, but I doubt if I ever will. All of my mods have been bought with long term vaping in mind.

Wow so many replies to read through, thanks Giles for the video, did exactly as he did and it was super easy too which I was surprised about. Flavour has improved quite abit but still a bit off if you know what I mean? Think I'll change the head tomorrow or Saturday depending if I get the iclear delivered before then I actually don't mind the cost so much, I was just a little worried I might be going a little over board. My new juices from the alchemists cupboard came today. ... I've left them to steep in the cupboard... Don't think I'll be able to resist trying them for too long though :/ Thanks guys and girls for the info! Oh and I'm now looking for a smaller ego or whatever type battery (suggestions welcome!) for when I'm out and about as carrying the vamo with me is a bit of a pain or I could just buy a smaller battery for the vamo I suppose. ..

The biggest bug bear I had against the Skycig kit that took me from smoking onto vaping was the short battery life it had. It was primarily that that made me hunt for something better that lasted longer. Okay, once I did find something better, the 1000 Vision kit, I then found a whole load of other advantages like better flavour and more versatility, but it was primarily the longer battery life.
If you do nothing else, like OneDay has pointed out, buy as good a battery as you can afford. It will pay you dividends in you future vaping experiences.

Noted lobey, I was thinking about getting a twist or spinner if I can find a cheap price/ or if it's small enough, how small is it? I just need something smaller than the vamo like a pen that I can carry around. The iclear 30 arrived today, good flavour and vapour, vaping the toffee apple from VE... pretty awesome... more toffee than apple but I love it.

I dunno about the Spinner. My Twist is 12cm, 2cm longer than the eGo. The Vamo is 13.5cm. The Twist is considerably lighter than the Vamo and easier to carry around. However that is where any comparison stops as the Vamo is a far superior PV than the Twist will ever be.

As I mainly use a Lava Tube and a Vamo i found the Spinner that I got a couple of weeks back to be tiny, however the only downside being the battery life is shorter, obviously, cos it's not 18650, but spinner's twist's are good for out and about. Tell a lie there is another downside, I'm off out in a minute and can't take the spinner as i'm not sure how much life is left in it, so i've just popped a new battery in the mini gripper and I'm good to go, can't do that with a spinner.
