Wow, loads of new info in this thread, I've never once managed to revive any of my kit, so I always end up binning stuff in favour of new.
I'm still spending far less than on smokes, so that's a win.

The dry burns are a must do for me every week or so and I use the same method as the guy in the vid, It really revives them. But dont keep the coil red for any longer than in the vid, you are in danger of popping them if you do mrclive

That battery must last a week!?!?!

The heading for this topic is "Way more expensive than smoking".
Well I smoked for almost 50 years and apart from counting the daily costs of smoking, it wasn't until I started vaping that I began to count up what smoking had really cost me.
Along with that, I have been keeping a very close watch on what I have been spending Vape Wise.
I am now coming up to 9 months of vaping and my costs are worked out every 3 months.
So, for the first 3 months vaping cost me an average of £2.35 per day as opposed to £14.04 a day for cigarettes. The second 3 months cost me on average £1.43 a day as opposed to £14.04 a day for cigarettes. The third 3 months will come in on average at £1.73 a day as opposed to £14.04 a day for cigarettes.
However, had I been smoking cigarettes, I would have nothing to show for my money except bad breath and a nicotined stained house. Today I have 5 Mods, 3 eGos, 21 Attys and about 6 years of e-juice chemicals stashed away for the future. Oh and I also have a very interesting hobby.
So yes, Vaping can appear to be way more expensive than smoking, initially, but the rewards, health, financially and interest wise will far outweigh any initial expenditure.
