I like using Recipe Lab - but am having a problem in that every time I come to use it again - it has deleted all my recipes and juices and anything I have stored in it

Thanks for looking - you're so sweet That's an app for the iPhone and iPad. I've downloaded it and it isn't very good There's also a paid-for app which somebody mentioned the other day, but the problem with those apps is printing... I think I'll stick with a spreadsheet. Perpetua kindly sent me hers, which I think originated from Frogster (The Alchemist) and I've tweaked it a bit.

Sleepy, I downloaded one called Liquix I haven't started mixing yet but I have been through it and it looks really good. Kirrielad says he uses it too.

Must have been you who mentioned it before Yes was so peed off that hardly any developers had made theirs compatible with Apple. It was the only one that came up for me, but thankfully it looks good.

mybad, the counter assumes all the flavours are PG based (unless you change it), so if your nic is Pg, you need a lower VG percentage for your target mix. I recently changed my nic base - the last one was vg, this one pg, so I've been hitting this all the time. I used to happily (with vg base) mix 30%pg to 70%vg. Now, with my pg base, I have to keep tweaking my target percentages until, sometimes, it's something daft like 49 of one and 51 of t'other. I just keep changing it until it tells me I don't have to add much or any pg - 'cos I'm running low... Play with the calculator until it gives you what you want

Nope, its not having any of it, what's the point of a calculator when you have to start trying to calculate it yourself.

the only way round it as I can see is to dilute my nic with some vg , the target nic strength I want is 36mg , the nic base I have is 54mg p/g so if I add 33.3 vg to the pg I should end up with the 36 ish mg strength I want. at a ratio of 70/30. ???

Nope, its not having any of it, what's the point of a calculator when you have to start trying to calculate it yourself. It is not a fault of the calculator, it is telling you you cannot get that ratio with 100% pg base and targets you are after, if you remove all flavours (as it sees these as 100% pg aswell unless you change it ) you can then get target strength My advice would be to get another bottle of 54mg base this time 100% VG and mix them

Fiddles is right - with your base being PG and your flavours, it's telling you you can't have that ratio as you've too much PG in the mix, so you either use VG base or tell it the flavours are VG and stop caring
