Fiddles is right - with your base being PG and your flavours, it's telling you you can't have that ratio as you've too much PG in the mix, so you either use VG base or tell it the flavours are VG and stop caring It was telling me I needed MORE pg not less.

you seemed like you wanted to get targets spot on, this would allow you too easier. If you dilute base with just VG like you said in your post your ratio would be all out time you added flavours thats all
nothing wrong with adding just VG

Negative PG values usually mean you have too much PG - it's telling you that you need to take some out in my experience. Can you post a screenshot?

The pop up hides the values on the calculator, so a screen shot would be of no use, just pop these values in and see for your self. 1 nic base 100% pg @ 54mg 2 target nic 36mg 3 amount 5ml 4 flavor 100% pg 10% 5 target ratio 70/30 pg/vg 6 calculate.

It is not a fault of the calculator, it is telling you you cannot get that ratio with 100% pg base and targets you are after, if you remove all flavours (as it sees these as 100% pg aswell unless you change it ) you can then get target strength My advice would be to get another bottle of 54mg base this time 100% VG and mix them Why buy another bottle of nic when I can just add vg to the pg I already have to achieve the target I need. Sorry bit of a noob here, but wouldnt that just weaken the nic content? so it would be no longer 54mg

mybad yes the pop-up is wrong but figures it gives is correct if you change 10% flavouring to 100% VG it will calculate no probs

Am not to bothered about targets being 100% spot on as long as I know what ratios am putting in.

OK, so what you're getting is this, right? The problem is, whichever base you use, you are using too much of for a 70/30 ratio. The only way to get it (that I can see) is to buy that VG base and mix it at a 70/30 ratio yourself, then you get this:

But edit that for 10% flavour and not my default 20%!

The trouble is the ratio & strength you want
54mg needs 33.3 added (zero nic) to make it 36mg plus you want ratio of 70/30 (33.3 - 30) that only leaves 3.3% so is impossible to add 10% flavouring (PG) & keep 70/30 ratio

The point was Jen , the highest % of the mix was pg, and it was saying it needed more pg.
