Hardware fail - need a backup mod!

Phew - it's here!



Leaves a bit of an unsightly gap with the Cobra on it but feels nice and solid. Wasn't sure about the bottom button thing but think I've been convinced in the whole 10 minutes I've owned it so will probably be on the hunt for a GP Paps X when they're available...

Also - I'm a bit scared of putting my Kick in the top half of the tube, feels like it could have a hard time being pulled out!

re the ECR69 code, finally got it to work by using my other pc, think I have a corupt browser on my lappy

BTW I make mods and I think I could fix the Sirius for you if you want, just looked it up and it looks like he uses the same switch setup that I used to repair blown electronic control boards on Bauway 510n mods, that was about 18 months ago and since then replaced the cheap tact switches in the Indulgence, Argento and Argento tele with the same method

That would be really kind of you! Just looking at your photo I'm thinking I might be able to do it myself - assuming the setup is the same. Am off to the British Juggling Convention tomorrow until next week so will do some investigating on my return.

Be warned I may take you up on that if I don't get anywhere!

From what I can gather going by some photos I saw I think on UKVAPERS the Sirius uses a microswitch as well but mounted sideways. My guess is that the button has just slipped of the microswitch lever so may only need coaxing back on. The photo above is the Indulgence/Argento head that originally had a cheap tact switch and a couple of pieces of thin wire, just an idea of what could be done. Will help if I can so no worries
