The sun is shining!!
Nothing quite so glorious as looking out to sea rippling silver in the sunshine. Sipping a nice glass of wine too of course.

Yes, it has been positively warm and muggy here for the last 2 weeks. Central heating turned down and all the windows open at night.
One week one part of the country is buried in snow and half the power cables down, next week and 80 miles north, we have moorland fires because everything is so dry.
All down to our crazy UK weather system.

Loving all the pics Just got home. After sipping wine INSIDE a nice restaurant on the beach front, we noticed that the council have erect a long ramp and raised wooden platform right on the beach so wheelchairs and pushchairs can go down there. What a nice thought. I haven't been able to go onto a beach for a long time so we decided to go down there. Mr Dolly parked me up on the edge of the platform probably about 40yds from the watrs edge. OMGGGGGGGGG!!! The wind!! I felt like i was being sliced in half! I last all of about 2 minutes and yelled to him to wheel me back to the car Mental not to self.... don't go back till July

At least it gets rid of the winter`s cobwebs. My Yorkie gets a walk along the beach twice a day come wind or shine.......not as much shine as I would like, but with the waters edge within a stones throw, I can soon be back in the warm with a coffee and a vape. Glad you had a great lunch with a glass or two Dolly and great to see the council spending some of our money on things that matter.

You are very brave taking the dog out on your coastline in all weathers!! I was glad to get out today though. Been stuck indoors all week with a chest infection. I even postponed lunch with beautycat Friday. Getting better now, although i wouldn't be surprised if i go pneumonia after sitting on that beach I was dead pleased to see the council spent the money on the platform. Never seen that before, but i bet it will be well used by people like me in the summer.
