I think they claim to have sorted that out mate, this is written on the site "DareDevil from Vapersden has now modified all of about 40 genesis atomizers so that the airhole matches the wick, greatly improving draw and vapour production. See his comments below for a detailed explanation of what he has done and why. DareDevil repeatedly refused any payment for doing this. His reason? He simply wanted anyone getting into genesis-style atomizers to get the best out of them from the start. He is a true enthusiast and great friend of vaping. This genesis atomizer has been hand finished by an expert." Super-Shiny

The wick doesn't line up, there is a bit of a gap between the wick and centre pin - and the centre pin can ride up and lose connection with the mod That being said - when tis running right tis a cracking vape - until it isn't

robbyDID clone got delivered today and it looks like the hole don't line up, red dot is where it ends up when fully tightened: That's with the top fully tightened (there is only about 2-3mm turn before it tightens up, there is quite a bit of thread but it only uses a small amount to tighten up)

Or try another 'O' ring.

Yup, wet & dry is better for metal (and I use the term metal loosely).
