Vamo settings.

The postie just kindly dropped off my stainless vamo and batteries today and i will be looking to getting the correct settings on it. I will be using Evod cartos and my ProTank (when it arrives next week hopefully) on it the Evod's have a coil of 2.5-2.6ohms as standard i think.

Am i correct in thinking first off i should change it to N02 setting by holding down the + button until it shows N02?
Whats the best wattage to be using, should i be just setting the wattage or should i be changing the volts?

Posting a quick guide to get you started on the VAMO.

Insert the battery - it may flash three of four times, it may not. This is normal.

Hit the big button 5 or 6 times in quick succession, this will turn it on.

Press either one of the small buttons and keep it pressed until you see either NO1 or NO2. If it shows NO2 it is fine, it means it is in RMS mode which is what you want. There is a toggle action when you do this step, so if it is showing NO1, go through this process again and it will change to NO2.

I have found it better to go to Variable Wattage mode. If you press both small buttons at the same time for three or 4 seconds you will see a figure with either a small v or a small w after it. You want it to be set so it shows the figure with the small w after the number. This is also a toggle action. If it is showing a v after the number then go through this process again until you see a w.

Put your atomizer on top, do not overtighten, there is no need as long as it is reasonably secure it is fine.

To check the resistance of the atomizer press the right hand small button and keep it pressed for a few seconds and you will see the resistance value of the atomizer.

To check the remaining battery voltage, do the same thing with the left hand small button.

So you should now have 3.0W showing on the display when you press the small button on the right. A quick press of the right hand button will move the value up to .5w more than it was before. You maybe want to start off at about 7w.

A quick press of the right hand small button will move the wattage up by half a watt and a quick press of the left button will move the value down by half a watt.

Find your own personal sweet spot for vapor and flavour and you can leave it there. Whatever value of atomiser resistance you change it to, you should get pretty close to what you prefer in terms of vapor and flavour.

To switch it off, press the big button 5 or 6 times in quick succession. It will remember your settings after switching off and re starting it again

Get into N02, stick it at 8w, go up or down from there. And enjoy

watts or volts, either/or but never both. i was trying to adjust mine to suit both but i just set the watts now at 8 to start and bring it down or take up with whatever juice i am vaping
