I cant believe that video shows candle holders made from thermoplastic, think of the children! You can buy plastic one's though. As long as the flame doesn't make direct contact with the plastic then its perfectly safe.

Sorry Simate ,this is not perfectly safe in my book.

I shall give it a go when I get mine a report back I can't imagine that the supplier would recommend making candle holders with it if it was dangerous.

Always use a candleholder specifically designed for candle use. It should be heat resistant, sturdy, and large enough to contain any drips or melted wax. from www.candles.org/safety_candles.htmlThis has potential risk as the plastic is not heat resistant. I may be biased as I had a house burn down about 10 years ago and lost everything, not candle related.
