I cant believe that video shows candle holders made from thermoplastic, think of the children!

You can buy plastic one's though. As long as the flame doesn't make direct contact with the plastic then its perfectly safe.

I bet those little candles he uses go way over 60degs and this specific plastic has a low melting point. Sorry Simate ,this is not perfectly safe in my book.

I can't imagine that the supplier would recommend making candle holders with it if it was dangerous.

Always use a candleholder specifically designed for candle use. It should be heat resistant, sturdy, and large enough to contain any drips or melted wax.

This has potential risk as the plastic is not heat resistant. I may be biased as I had a house burn down about 10 years ago and lost everything, not candle related.
