lol well said Robby so its the bling we all go for and the small extras at the end of the day its looks feel and build quality + price the vape quality is down to the atty or cart personally i like the look of the innoken, love the idea of the evic i like gadgets would like to no more about it just noticed the cap and body come separate so can be interchanged nice It turns into a hobby, where smoking was more of a NEED so it does come down to how the kit looks etc. I am a gadgetaholic for sure lol, but I really do like the SVD look, and will be buying one within the next week I hope

I think baling very much turns into a hobby. When you smoke, you smoke. When you vape there's so much info and juices to try and tanks, mods batteries etc. and mixing and it never ends.
Plus the vaping community is great to be a part of. Everyone tries to help each other out. Often going above and beyond to help a fellow vaper.
Right, I've narrowed it down to the SVD or the Evic. So basically looks over gadgetry. Hmmmm.
This will be my last buy for a good while because I just won't have any cash. And will be my 'top end' mod. So really don't want to mess up.

There can be an awful lot of "small spherical objects" talked about this stuff lol. It`s a BATTERY, a COIL, a BATTERY HOLDER and a SWITCH basically. That is all they are, there is (please sit down now)........................................no magical Provari (or other brand) fairy dust magically sprinkled on any of it. A Vamos volts or an Egos volts or a Provari`s volts are just the same as any other volts (unless you are going to get picky, which I am sure someone will) The "under four quid" Phoenix double coiled is a great vape if you dont mind dripping. I prefer it myself and always end up going back to it because I like the fresh taste you get every time you re-drip. I agree, but there are definitely differences between devices. I prefer to put aside cosmetic looks and concentrate on how well it works. The PV, how easy is it to use and change voltage etc, how is the button (ie I like my provari, but I don't like the button on it), how well does the voltage hold up in use, is it comfortable, button in right place etc. The device on top, I like the SS pheonix, the more I think about it, the more I come to think it's because the SS U wick I have, is so close to the liquid, that it takes no time at all for the liquid to wick to the coil and the coil is directly above the air intake, a win win situation. I wonder if this is why std genesis attys don't work for me very well. IMO the device on top is much much more important than the battery, but I think a VV or VW PV is very important to get the most out of your atty (whatever type). Clearomiser's are even more important than rebuildables, I've never had one that worked well "reliably" sure sometimes they work well, but not often, they gunk up too quickly and design makes a big difference with them I've found. I know many vapers will go happily on a clearo for weeks, but the most I've got out of one is a few days before rewicking, same as my rebuildables, which makes me think many vapers are going around with substd vaping equipment. Even if they don't know it.

The kanthal wire costs almost nothing and it's well worth doing. The best way I've found, is to take the wick out, burn the carbon off, then roll it (well) in kitchen roll to get rid of the carbon deposits, don't worry about hurting it, you won't, add juice once and burn it, then rebuild. When rebuilding, obviously flame the coil before winding to get rid of springiness, then wind a straight bit of coil and do it once, properly, if you kink it, it won't like it. If it kinks too badly, start again with a new bit of wire. Then I always go back to 3 volts and work my way up if needed. HTH's

I think I dry burn my double coiled Phoenix about every three days, works for me. With all the Protanks, iclears etc, I always end up going back to the consistent warm vape from the phoenix dripper. I am so used to it now I hardly notice topping it up anymore

How do you double coil a phoenix? Any chance of a pic? I can't see how you have the space.

Ends up about 1.4 ohms with vapobreak`s pre made coils. Loads of room there really. You could probably get three in there if the centre one was raised slightly but they would need to be another couple of turns to work in the Vamo. You would need coils of 3.6 ohms to end up with 1.2 ohms. womble
