Cool! Disappointing to see the 10motives centre stage in the photo.....no product placement there at all. much.... Still, from what I've learned about 10motives, they are FAR cheaper than E-Lites and if as bad as Todd reviewed, that means more dissatisfied customers using their brain and seeking out advice. Whoo-hoo. Win Win.

<<< However, with use of e-cigarettes rising sharply in Britain, experts said more research into their long-term effects was ‘clearly needed’.>>>
Good article, but how are these "experts" supposed to conduct any research into the "long term effects" on something that has only been on the market for a few years.
Perhaps some secret laboratory has a Time Machine that will take it into the future, do the long term research and then come back to the present day with their results.
Or perhaps the "experts" are living in cloud cuckooland.

Before that the doctor was almost prescribing them.

This article is being passed around Twitter today too.
I was in Manchester a few days ago and 3 people walked past me with "proper" e-cigs (not cig a likes) It is definitely growing in popularity, unfortunately there is a VIP stand in my local shopping centre and people who don't know any better. When I go up tomorrow i'm just going to wave my new e-cig at him and say "don't think so" haha.

What I said about Experts and Time Machines was tongue in cheek.
However when you think that the Cigarette was first invented in about 1750 and it took Experts(?) about 250 years before they cottoned onto the facts about the harmful nature of the ciggy, I do think that it is going to take a very long time before any long term harmful effects are going to arise out of any proposed research.
In the meantime, the next time you see me "smoking" will be when I am halfway up the local crematorium chimney!

The silly woman that said how long can e-cig users afford to use them........I afforded to buy propper cigs for umpteen years, had I not then I could have been on a couple of world cruises and had numerous posh cars, if I could afford that then this is nothing.

My daily costs at the moment are as follows. E-cigs.......£1.14. per day. Fags, if I was still on them......£14.04. per day.
Och, I think I will stick with the E-cigs.

Believe it or not the NHS have actually dedicate a whole page on their website trying to pick the piece in the Metro to pieces. www.nhs.uk/news/2013/04April/Pages/E-cigarette-vapers-using-them-to-quit-smoking.aspxTheir main argument though seems to be that the figures from this piece cannot be taken seriously because they consulted with people who use electronic cigarettes. Shocking really, but of course the NHS it's self has a lot to lose by people switching to ecigs and not getting ill from smoking. In terms of funding and positions of importance.

Have you read the comment at the bottom from the ECCA? Adds a bit of balance to their nit picking exercise. Does make you wonder why they are so against people switching to e-cigs doesn't it!
