Tried all the methods I could find drill bit included none worked. I'm under no illusion I know it's me not the equipment. But 15/16 hrs you would have thought you would fluke it once. Lol gonna look into silica attys. then maybe have a go tomorrow again after work. But for tonight it's clearos all the way. By the way perps our vape tastes are very similar.

The way I do it is cut a piece of 400 mesh about 40 x 30, oxidise the mesh over a flame, and then roll it round a thin rod, I use a thin welders rod, then flame it again and then I do 4 wraps of .20 Kanthal wire around the mesh with the wick out of the AGA and with the rod still in place, I then place the wick into the AGA and attach the coil, still with the rod inserted helping to keep the wick solid, I then pulse the coil until all the coils are lighting up evenly, occasionally placing a little juice onto the wick to help it along, and that's it. And so far this has worked well for me. I'm sure there are many other methods to try out there, but it's another way to try to beat it.

Cheers ibalders I will try this method tomorrow. Do you not juice then burn your mesh a couple of times?

Mine tasted a bit better the next day, to be honest there is no massive improvement over the Iclear or Protank that you would say "OMG this is well good compared to other things" It's a lot of hassle for something so miniscule in taste improvement, but that's just my opinion To be extra honest i think this CLICKY is just as good and hassle free

I slow pulse a few times, trying to get the coils light up without any juice at all, this way the hot coils will further oxidise the mesh and avoiding any future hotspots, I then place a little juice on to the mesh a then pulse some more. Also you could try placing a small washer onto you centre post to narrow the gap, I have also removed one of the nuts on the centre post and put on a cut down spring from a pen, this let's me trap the wire on the post instead of having to screw the nut down, and preventing the mesh from moving when attaching the coil.

Its the wick not wicking enough liquid, funny thing is ive just had this with one of my wicks, and boy did it taste crap that metal taste was hitting the back of my throat undo your wick get a paper clip and straighten it out, and role you wick around it, then slip it back down your coil and ease the paper clip back out, and give it a try, hopefully this will do the job

Wire keeps popping between wick and pos post. That's four. Wick is straw oxidised five times with juice once without.

Oxidize the coil before using and pulse the coil at a low voltage and slowly go up, think that's what i done when i had a AGA-T....been awhile since i had one though.
Also i used 0.2 kanthal i think.

Keeps saying low load. .2 Kanthal oxidised. Looks neat evenly spaced but I'm missing something.

I am not really great at these things but it deffo sounds like something is touching somewhere, perhaps a fray from the mesh?
