I've been searching for ordinary napthalene mothballs, but they're becoming hard to find and the only ones I come across are allied with some rip-off postage costs. I'm not interested in cedar balls, just the old-fashioned ones. Does anyone know of a supplier/stockist of them who would be willing to post to Ireland?

I've never understood what mothballs are, are they things you stick in the wardrobe to stop moths eating your clothes? Thats all i remember as a kid.
But also i've never seen a moth eating a jumper etc

I think moths were much more of a problem before synthetics?

You used them the same as slug pellets but you had to have a good aim to hit the pesky things slugs were easier as they did not move as fast
