No worries MOOSE...don't comprehend but reckon it's horses for courses (is that the correct metaphor?) - I vary my mixes between 15ml and 35ml

MOOSE I've just put some peach into my glassomiser...I just did half of what I'd normally put in and it's delish. Peach wasn't what I thought I'd ordered (thought I'd ordered pear) but here's hoping I can even fix the cherry in a few days time...will vape 15ml of this then try the apple... I'm not totally knocking the cherry. I just think it needs another go as I did put too much in the first time.... Hope that helps...HUgs

Just ordered: Heavenly HAZELNUT Perfect PEAR Will update once tried. From what I read on POV, ClassiKool say the only one which they don't recommend is Tutti Fruity, not sure why. My Sticky Toffee Pudding + VG mix seems to be getting stronger with age. House smells like a confectioners.

The sticky toffee pudding tastes a bit caramel-like with a background of vanilla. That's in VG (apart from PG in flavouring) mixed at 15%. Strong vanilla nose. Seems to me it needs a good steep, was bland and a slightly bitter fresh, a week later its getting much better. I might not be the best person for a fair evaluation though, vaping tends to numb my taste buds to some flavours. I read today Classikool don't recommend the Tutti Fruity because its ethanol based rather than PG. Can't see that being an issue, unless someone has a sensitivity to alcohol.

Just seen this thread.. I have nearly all the classikool concentrates, and really like them. The are excellent value as they are very strong flavours and you need only a little for mixes.

Hi promethian. Would you be so kind as to post the (general) percentages you use for classikool flavourings, thanks.

Hi promethian. Would you be so kind as to post the (general) percentages you use for classikool flavourings, thanks. Generally around 5-8 % if its a main flavour. Could be as low as 1 or 2 % if its a blending flavor. (Ginger for instance... 1-2 % gives a good taste blend in some mixes) I have a couple of mixes in the recipe list using CK flavoring.... and must get round to posting a few more... promise

Thanks promethian. Looks like I overdid it with my classikool mix, expected too much flavour-wise in VG without steeping. Looking forward to some of your CK recipes. Have 'L' plates, will mix.

Agreed Perpetua. My DIY vanilla extract didn't seem to change that much, but these bought flavourings need it. The Classikool Pear and Hazelnut arrived today, did a 5ml mix of the Pear (5% in VG). First impressions, peardrops, nice flavour and strong nose. Was slightly cloudy when first mixed but is clearing. Something to do with the 10% vodka I thin the VG with.? One thing is certain, the pear announces its arrival as soon as hits the doormat.

I think I should post an update with the Classikool Pear flavouring. Just checked the mix I made last night and there is a distinct separation taking place. A thin layer of liquid is floating on the top of the mix which is clear, the remaining juice below being slightly cloudy. Not sure what is going on here, or if the addition of vodka has caused a reaction with this mix. I'm going to repeat the mix without vodka, I'll post results later.

Just repeated the mix minus the vodka (VG diluted 10% deionised water with a few drops of Pear). Same result, turns cloudy when shook and begins to separate when left to stand leaving separated residue on side of bottle. Following pic is the the mix I made yesterday: The next is the one I just mixed without the vodka: Not sure if this represents anything serious, but I won't be vaping any more of the Pear flavouring. It clearly doesn't like going into solution with VG, a wick blocker at best, thoughts?
