Greetings one and all. I recently bought a Riva 1100 kit from VapeEscape (Good quick service). I discovered I do not get on with the cartomisers So bought a couple of Kanger MT3/T3 units. They work OK BUT I have found that when taking a good drag I do not get the feeling of resistance of a ciggie (former Marlboro/ Gauloises smoker). I have seen the feeling described elsewhere on the Forum as too 'Airy' (Well done to whoever came up with that expression). I would like to be able to keep to the approx dimensions of the Vision Ego Clearomiser /MT3/T3 purely for aesthetics. Any ideas folks? EVOD, Malboro?? Frustratingly Yours Wobblybootie. p.s. No! I do not have a flabby rear end!! Bootie = Bootneck= A term of endearment for a Royal Marine!!

Hi and welcome. Congratulations on giving up. You have bought a great kit there so the last thing we need is for you to be frustrated with it. An 'airy' draw is liked by some people and disliked by others but don't go for the Marlboro option!! I would recommend a mini nova along with a type B plinth. The plinth is partly aesthetic (it covers up the ego threads) but it can also be used to adjust the airflow getting to the mini nova

Welcome to the forum wobbly. Agree on the mini nova. Vaping one now and it is a lot tighter draw in it than the kanger stuff. Have 2 now as they get used on my vamo and on my oh spinners.

Another option if you do like the kangers is to block one or two of the air holes. I have heard people using toothpicks pushed into the holes then snapped off

I personally find the draw on the V3 rebuildable about as "sturdy" as they come. To my tastes, the draw on the mini vivi nova is no more or less airy until you tighten up the plinth, than the Kanger Evod. I find the most airy is the Protank, and that is improved a lot by using the evod heads, as they have much thinner diameter tubes.
In order, entirely personal, I admit.... least airy to most airy....
1. Vision V3 2. Nova (with plinth, somewhat essential....) 3. Kanger clearos 4. Nova (no plinth....grim.....) 5. Kanger Protank with evod head 6. Kanger Protank.
