It's quite a straight forward repair Jo. Just a Stanley knife, soldering iron, some 2 pack adhesive and a little super glue.

I'd be happy to do it for you if you can justify the postage.

Got this little bugger the other day & vamo & 18350 batteries arrive yesterday, when i bought it i thought it would be a great little stealth mod but the 18350 looks a little short & rattles about, the spring only just touches the battery, anyone else found this?

try stretching the spring out a bit or like 4mad says, get a hot spring

it's worth putting a hot spring in anyway for added safety and better performance.

Just thought i would give you an update on this, we use lantern torches at work & they take the large 6v batteries so i took one of the connection springs off the top & fitted it the UDT Mini cap stops the battery rattling about it now works great.
