Now I got mine today. Rewicked etc etc and it's shorting. Put the little screws in (lost one) and it still shorts. Made sure the wire wasn't touching anything. Not working...

Is it the screw or what?

could be the spring in the base, have a look and make sure it's seated correctly.

Just opened one up for a test and not sure about these, why is it the slot for the wick is right down in the threading ?

I must be doing something wrong.

Set it up. Filled it with my favourite juice. No flooding. But zero flavour. 2.5ohms. Absolutely no flavour at all.

Gave it a wash and started again. This time with menthol. Never fails. Except that it did.
