On serious postie watch

I'm off Thundersprint on Anglesey tomorrow and a bit worried that I need to take some spare stuff with me, I have spare manual batteries coming (my spares are autos and I don't like them as much) and I really hope they arrive today so I can have peace of mind for the day!

My 1100mah battery usually lasts me a day but i'm going to be in the car for 4 hours and in the open air all day, a recipe for lots of vaping! Everyone fingers crossed my stuff turns up please, I need some positive postie vibes lol

Sounds like you need a USB cigarette lighter plug so you can charge things up in the car and/or a USB pass through battery for the journey. Neither are particularly expensive

I'm probably not going to make it to many events this year but will be camping out
at the Festival 1000 bikes with the MV owners club.

We're using the cigarette lighter for the sat nav, but thank you for reminding me that the stereo has a USB point on it so I could always charge it through there if I need to :-)

Sounds good, bulldog bash is cancelled this year which I was surprised about. We go to Thundersprint because it used to be in Northwich which is only a few miles away, this is it's first year on Anglesey so we decided to give it a try, will let you know if it's any good

They tell me its a great venue, its just so damn far to get there!
However it has the advantage that they are less noise sensitive than anywhere else,
with all those old race bikes that's important.
Are you taking a bike/s or going to watch the fun?

We were going to go on the bike but the Welsh police have announced that they are starting their random stopping motorbikes again, to check their legality so we've decided to go in the car instead. Although we are legal we can't be bothered with the hassle of being stopped and having to do the speed limit the whole way there lol.

Well, my mixing stuff turned up but not my batteries. I'll just have to charge it first thing in the morning and take a spare auto battery with me to be on the safe side.
