I used a strip of blue leds in my marine aquarium. It does look very blue in my photo but that's the way the camera decided to make it look lol. Man, your fish are so taken care of, they even have their own TV, how lucky are they? TV? They've got an air conditioner in there too.

Very nice tank Si I'd really like a marine aquarium I expect they take a lot more maintenance though. Mr. Plecostomus wants blue LEDs!

Actually, I found the marine tank much lower maintenance compared to when I had tropicals, I've had a lot of tropicals over the years too, from the bog standard mollies etc, to red tailed catfish which get humungous, african knife fish, shovel nosed catfish, pacu's, arowanas (loved them), piranhas, wolf fish, oscars and cichlids of various sorts. Probably missed something out but you get the idea Marine is piggin expensive to start up with though. The rock alone in that tank cost me £220 at the time.

These prices are insane - I originally visited their site to look at e-cig stuff, but got so side-tracked that i nearly bought about £50 of stuff I didn't need!! And all because it is so cheap - says something about my personality I'm sure Andy

You just want a remote control don't you lol. The one's I had were from the place I linked too. They worked fine but they did fade away after about 12 months tbh but they replaced them without any fuss. The one's you linked to would do the job but 2 meters is a lot of leds and I have no idea what's with the power connection on it.

Mine grew to 19 inches, it was about 3 inches when I bought it, loved it to bits, I used to put my hand in the tank and it would swim over and brush against my hand, it was silky soft. Just remember looking at my photobucket pic that I also Had an Indian Snakehead, forgot all about that one You can just make out a bit of my knife fish and giant gourami which I also forgot about lol. This is a 4ft planted tank I had. The bits that ran the planted tank

Bloody hell, so it is torch - tick razor blades - maybe if they turn out to be kosher now remote control LED The question is, though, since I don't happen to have a 12v supply lying around in my garden, what is the best way to supply them? Just use 240v AC and a transformer? Don't tell me, fastech have a suitable one lol.
