Pretty easy Dave, you can get connectors for about a pound each, or if you are good at soldering it should be easy to tack some cable on. Then just give them 12V dc and start playing with the remote. I am gonna get three of them . They wont be for the pond water really but I`ll use them as uplighters for the surrounding vegetation, although they should be easy enough to waterproof and put under the water level. dave

I'm not planning on putting them under water so should be fairly straightforward. I'm still pondering whether to go down the AC/DC route which would be simple enough or look into battery powered possibilities.

I am in the fortunate position of having a metre square solar panel which I imported from China a few years ago, so it keeps an old car battery of mine topped up and a timer for the lights which come on at sunset via a light detector and switch off at bedtime to save the battery and keep it in good nick. One thing you could use is connector blocks, if you are lucky you might find some that are the right distance apart to fit the two pins on the lamps, Failing that you could just cut off individual blocks. dave

Depending on positioning you could always hook them up to the nearest lamp post, free energy and built in light sensor..

Well, my 2 novas arrived today, and I must say I am completely disappointed! They are totally unusable, due to the only airway in being on the very bottom of the post, which to be working has to be on top of the battery, this means there is zero draw on them (unless they aren't connected to a battery lol)! I'll contact ft after work later, win some lose some
