Hi, I am a new member and this is my first week vaping. I smoke (used to?) 40 Superkings a day but a friend started me on 10Motives disposable on Monday and yesterday I switched over to a rechargeable Vapestick Max and had my first smoke free day for many years. I am really enjoying vaping and can see it is going to be easy for me to switch to vaping full time. I am looking for a better kit than the one I have at present. I am finding that I am not too keen on the flavours which come with the Vapestick. I also find that it does not produce much vapour. I am thinking of changing to something like the Riva 1100 Deluxe Kit. I also like the sound of the Vision Spinner. Will the Spinner allow me to control the amount of vapour produced and is it compatible with the Riva? I am also worried about the purity of e-liquids and them being unregulated. From what I've read it seems it is better to use liquids produced in the UK or USA. I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions about what the best liquids are. I am not bothered about going for the cheapest liquids if they carry greater risks and I am not interested, at this point, in mixing my own. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Thank you, Lenny. I have already found so much information here. I wish I had known about this forum at the beginning of the week.

Hi Kailey The riva kit is very popular with new vaper's, so a good choice! If you do order from VE code 'allabout' will give you 10% discount! Yes, the spinner is compatible with the Riva kit and you can change the voltage which changes the amount of vapor produced! There are a lot of scare stories about juice but so long as you use one of the known established vendors there shouldn't be any problems. If you do order from VE, you can buy a sample size pick and mix which is a good way to try out juices in the beginning until you get a better idea what you like

Hi kailey. Welcome to the forum. The riva kit is a great starting point. You get cartomisers and a clearomiser so you can decide which you prefer. They both have ego and 510 connections on the top of them so everything is interchangable between the 2 plus pretty much every carto and clearo will fit them.
The spinner. You can change the volts up and down. Every liquid and every person has there own sweet spot. Turning the volts up and down will find that sweet spot. More volts does mean more vapour but there are a lot of other factors too.
As for juice. Alchemist cupboard. Vapology. Grizwalds are all great juices. There are lots out there. Just have to go and try lots.

Hi kailey The Riva kit comes well recommended. The spinner is compatible with all 510 and ego cartomizers and clearomisers, including the ones that come with the Riva kit. The spinner is VV (variable voltage), which allows you to control the strength of the vape. As for liquids, you are sensible to be concerned. Unfortunately, I can't give you any useful information on that. I mostly use liquids from Grizwald (sold by VapeEscape), the Alchemist's Cupboard and ChefsVapour, all of whom are relatively small scale UK vendors. I really don't have a clue about the ingredients they use or the conditions under which the juices are made, I just take it on trust that they aren't going to poison me

Hello & welcome Kailey I don't think I can think of anything to add to the brilliant advice you have already been given

Thank you very much for your help with the Riva and Spinner. I think those are what I will be going for. Thank you too for recommendations for liquid. I know it is a bit irrational but I can't help but worry. I will be ordering some of the samples from Grizwald when I order the Riva and I've had a quick look at the Alchemist's Cupboard and will probably choose a few from there too. Will check out the others also.

I suppose we should be cautious about whom we buy juice from, I suppose I only really buy from vendors that are known on here. On the whole though, I'm pretty blase about it as nothing can be worse than what we were putting in our bodies smoking ciggies

kailey, I got a Riva kit from vapeescape 5 weeks ago today. I haven't smoked tobacco for 4 weeks on Saturday. I can't fault the kit, but I did buy a Kanger EVOD and a Vision Ego v3 at the same time - I prefer both to the clearo that came with the kit, & I very much prefer clearos to cartos. I bought the EVOD, as recommended on a different thread to the Riva kit. I believe you'll find using a Riva Kit and juice a lot cheaper and a better experience than the 'supermarket cig-a-likes'. As others have said, the vendors on the list that Karma posted are worth checking out for juices and supplies. No affiliation to them, but had some excellent juices from vapourtine (when they were on offer )

Welcome kailey! Good luck finding your perfect juice, I thought it was the most difficult part of switching from stinkies to ecigs, (not entirely a bad thing! And can be a doddle for some) its quite good tasting all the different flavours on offer Don't rule out any flavours, I would suggest getting a sample pack from some of the vendors that have already been posted... I'm waiting for a few from these guys: www.vapology.co.uk/4-x-10ml-tailor-made-e-liquid-pick-n-mix-2513-p.asp

Thank you for the list of e-liquid vendors. That will come in very useful.

*welcome*kailey, isn't this a great place for information? I don't know how I would have managed when I first started without this great forum. Anyway onto the juice situation. I too am a little paranoid about what Juice I vape, particularly so when I first started. In view of this I decided to stick to USA or GB produced only. ( as best we can tell of course ) I did a lot of research and decided on Vermillion River, Mom and Pops or Halo juices. Look into them and see what you think. I don't buy any juice made in China or Eastern Europe. There will be many on here that will say I don't know what I'm missing, perhaps I don't...as I say I admit to being a little paranoid...but each to their own. If you still feel you want to stick with your original question then the above juices should be what you're looking for.
