New PC

I have just had Mr PCman round to install the new PC he has built for me. Now I will need a university degree just to learn how to use the dammed thing. Gone from my old (2003) Office to an Office Professional 2013. So complicated! Apart from the nifty wee clock and weather station on the desktop, the rest is a complete mystery. Oh, I should say the I have also gone from Windows XP to Windows 7. Gone from 20 gigabytes to a Terabyte. Don't know what it is but it sounds like some sort of Dinosaur. Oh and the PC itself has pretty blue lights and looks rather fetching!!! Well at least I have found my way to AAE-C, so when all else fails, I can come on here and moan about it!

Well Lobey, if you can get here, tell the time, and check the weather without looking out of the window I'm sure it was a bargain

I have not had the Bill yet, so, so far, its a bargain!!!!
I am amazed how much better the AAE-C website is working with this new PC. Before it was all fits and farts but on this it is super fast with no hiccups.

Lobey... Congrats on your new PC... It will automatically remember your Paypal password and redirect you to your favourite e-cig vendor, and re-order all those things you thought you could do without

Hi Raffles, I am trying another No Spend Month. Between the dog's Vet Fees, this PC and the insurance on a Park Home that we are trying to get rid of, I doubt if I could afford a new Clearomiser, let alone a Shiney!!!
No Ron, it is a bang up to date Elastic Band driven one!

Widows 7 is a solid version of windows, totally stable and will take pretty much anything that is thrown at it. A Terabyte is 1024 Gigabytes so you have plenty of storage space and virtual memory for windows to use which will, to a certain extent, help to speed up windows. As for the blue lights, every new PC has to have them, it's the law.

Windows 7 is the most stable and user friendly OS operating system MS have ever released, its a shame they killed Windows 8 though. It'll take you a little while to get used to it after having used XP, you really enjoy it once you've sussed it out
