Although I didn't get on with the Evod, I quite liked the small drip tip fixed to it.
But I've been unable to find a 510 DT that looks like it.
Anyone seen one?

The drip tip that came in my Riva kit from vapeescape is very similar to the EVOD. Feels totally the same in my mouth, anyway.

sorry you didn't get on with the evod womble what happend with it . It just gunked up really quickly, in less than a tanks worth, the flavour went and it became unusable, it's a shame as I liked the design alot, the black one looked really good on my black provari. I am considering trying to do a SSmesh adaptation with it, but it needs a bit more thought atm.

I made a ss mesh wick when I had a T3, I put a small piece of silica on top of the coil as well, it made it better but the T3 was just a poor design imo. Still waiting for my evods that I ordered on Wednesday, can't wait to have a play with them if they ever get here.

I'm thinking of a very tight mesh coil and maybe covering it with a silica tube to stop leaks through the sides, although I would prefer no silica, I think the SS mesh wouldn't fill the gap totally, plus you have the problem of the mesh electrically connecting with the sides as you slid in in tightly. Interested to hear your thoughts?

Yep, I made a very tight mesh wick, it had to be tight to fit in it the slots of the head, the silica wick on top of it was to help keep the gurgling and spitting down. If the mesh is well oxidised then there should be no problems with shorts. Here's a pic of it from when I did it.

So do you think the Evod is a better design than the T3?
I can imagine the coil would have it's oxidisation removed from the surface when you slid it tightly into the slot, so a contact would easily be made, which is why I considered the silica tube. But of course this is moving me away from my desire to have a complete SS atty. Maybe this is a bad idea, a bottom fed SS wick atty may just leak and leak.

I can't honestly answer that truthfully until I get mine, I am really hoping they turn up on Monday, if not I will have to contact the vendor. When I did my T3, I rolled the wick so as it only just fitted in the slot but not so tight that is scraped on the metal as I pushed it in, if its too fat then yes it will remove some oxidisation which would be bad.

The white one on top of the Aga came from Cloud 9 and is nice and small. They are available in black and white (plastic) and are similar to the Evod's if memory serves... If I remember they are £1.95 each - but you would want to order something else too as postage is quite high on that site!
