Hi All. It may just be the one I have via the `group buy`. Are the 510 connection threads on your `loose` ? ??? Mine only locks any Atty fitted on the final threads. Also when unscrewing atty you have to hold top of mod to stop it unscrewing with the mod. Comments or fixes please. Thank you. jeffc

Eat porridge then tighten top cap, will not come undone then, or hold it when unscrewing atty, and yes the threads are loose on some attys, what you can do is remove the top section and undo the pin screw in atty then do up pin till it makes contact, you get me?

Mine are fine Jeff, both get a grip on the first thread. I have over tightened & then ended up unscrewing the whole top cap but that was my user error & nothing to do with the tube.

screw the centre pin out, screw the atty on next til it's flush then adjust the centre pin back up before screwing onto the main body

Thanks all for your replies. I have done all those suggestions, but the threads in my Drawtube mode are very loose on all the atty`s even with the centre pin totally removed. They only firm up when the base of the atty, is up solid against the top plate of the mod. I am sure that the 510 connection threading on this mod is oversize ????. Any other suggestions to modify apart from fitting 510 - 510 extension or 510 - ego which looks bloody awful on the mod. Thanks.
jeffc
P.S. It works perfectly firing every time I press the button, but I am concerned about the threads.
I can live with it as is !!!

Maybe drop a Macca a pm & see if he can get hold of a new top cap for you, if it's only gripping at the very base you might be running the risk of snapping your atty connections.

I have two, not from the GB, and find the 510 threading to be perfect. Only problem is the SS will eat everything that gets twisted on. My vivi's 510 threads are black and only bite on the DT if Im lucky. Dreams et al. still thread/ bite just fine.
Good luck Have fun I

Mine is a little loose but not enough to be a problem, I don't understand these Chinese manufacturers, they produce half decent stuff then cock it up with something as simple as cutting a thread. My Zmax from an earlier group buy the 510 threads were to small, ffs
