How would that impact on downloading updates to it, surely the device identifies itself when logging on?

I disagree. I think all vapers, whether members or not, should be warned about the possibility of grey, sub-standard or knocked-off goods. We are all quick to complain when an item turns out to be a 'clone' and with the recent burglaries at TW shops and Liberty Flights warehouse we need to be extra vigilant.

I`m using a BV head and it works fine, and that was cut price  just updated to the new version software today

Needless to say (somewhat) I saw eVic stuff on evape. I can't tell you what put me of. Bottom line is I tend to wait until someone has something concrete to say about a vendor when we are talking about expensive purchases.

I bought one from them months ago, with those terms clearly stated on the web site. My understanding is that Joytec rights in the UK ar5e totaly owned by another company which I will never ever give any money to.

The device has been first class in every respect, arrived in a couple of days at an (at the time) good price.

It was not one of the afflicted recalled batch and Ive never had any difficulty updating it's firmware.

So whilst I can see it might look fishy, my own experience has been completely positive.
