Only the other week I changed over a DC . . . cleaned the tank out religiously, set it all back up again with a nice new flavour.

Settled down to take a lovely big chug some moments later, only to find I'd put the old knackered DC back in the tank.

Minor league stuff from me... the Vamo was reporting 9.9 ohms (i.e. no connection) to a Vivi Nova, and so took a screwdriver to it and promptly broke the Nova. Fitted another one, 9.9 ohms, what's going onnnn? On examining the vamo... the socket was clogged full of dried gunge (probably from cockups unscrewing a Nova drunk, that's another story), cleaned it with spec fluid and voila, 2.1 ohms! A Nova down on the deal but lesson learned.

Got a Evod today and had a bit of a mare with it at first, I did a quick mod that Oneday told me about refilled the Evod then topped the whole tank in my lap!

I filled an evod up about half an hour ago but squeezed the bottle into the center tube without realising until it started to run down my hand, lost about 1ml of my precious Capella Gingerbread!

Ok I did one last night, I filled the Mr's clearo up after cleaning it out. Turned out it wasn't his, it was one of mine and he wasn't very appreciative of the taste of strawberry liquorice mixed with tobacco. I now can't use it because it tastes like tobacco I hope I can fix it by giving it a bicarb bath and changing the wick or else it's going in the bin

I spent about £60 on what was in hindsight just a mini chrome lavatube!

Subsequently bought an extension tube so I could use 18650 batteries.

Subsequently decided to try stacking 2 18350's.

Subsequently smelt a strong burning smell, and saw smoke escaping the chip set.

Subsequently realised stacking batteries in a 2.5amp device was not the way to go!

I've been following this thread rather smugly, thinking "I've never done that" to each new revelation. So tonight I decided that rather than re-wick my Dream I'd rinse the wicks off and dry-burn the coil. Come to dry-burn it and the Vamo give a 'low ohms' warning and refuses to fire. Strange, thinks I. So I swap it over to the Zmax - same thing. I make sure the coil isn't touching the atty body, I separate the winds with a cocktail stick, still nothing. OK, damn it, I'm going to have to make a new wick and coil after all. Same thing with the new one!!

After much cursing, pulling of hair and generally stomping about I decided to take the bottom off the base, only to find that the base is full of water from my rinsing. No wonder it was shorting!!
