Must admit, I just bought a back up Dream from greigster, which he had wicked & coiled....He did it with the wick tripled over in a 'z' shape & then coiled without the wicks running down the channels.....I haven't tried it yet, but he reckons it vapes brilliantly. Yea, but I never left it in the horizontal Chris He.hee.......I don't normally do it, but I left it in the car for a couple of minutes while I was doing something........Learnt my lesson now though....am in the process of designing something to slot it into in the car.......

I don't fully understand the pressure-equalisation thing with the Dream, but what I'm getting at is this: if the atty is left in the horizontal position, will the juice pass in through the lower hole, expelling air from the upper one, and flood the atomiser chamber? The dream is basically a rebuildable cartotank so your always going to get pressure issues leading to gurgling and flooding. Ive found that cartotanks are better left in a shaded cool place when not being used. Preferably empty. These units they act like a barometer, so its best to keep them stood up so both holes are always submerged, that way thers a chance of having a bit of negative pressure and not to much flooding.

What you definitely have to avoid with a Dream or similar is putting them in your pocket on an airplane

The metal unit works just the same and is encased in a tank of juice feeding the juice through a couple of holes. Same as your average DC tank The dream sometimes builds up too much vacuum as the juice gets used (see todds review). And if the metal carto gets to warm due to direct sunlight or a little too much use it builds up positive pressure which can aid flooding. No flooding or gurgling with yours but we are sure to see lots of threads complaining of flooding and gurgling, maybe you will have the answers as yours is working so well.

Rubbish. I am with Gillas on this, you really try to come over all the expert with your semi intelligible gibberish. Yes maybe I do have the answers, unlike you.
I was using a carto tank before you had even heard of vaping and never had any problems then, you know why? I listened to advice and didn't think I knew it all, trying to be clever.

I never knew Gillas has an opinion on the dream. I have given a reason I think they are better stood up and you come back with ''you do talk some tosh'' now you say Im trying to be clever. Not very friendly I must say.

There you go again, twisting stuff to try and make yourself look clever, gillas made a post about you being a 'mixed up guy' in another thread not about the dream (I never said it was about the dream) You were the same in mixology, trying to be clever, that backfired on you a bit. Your tosh was about comparing it to a cartotank as you put it. No, not very friendly, but then I think you are a **** and have no reason to be friendly to you. You are the only person on this forum that I feel that way about and I have met a few of them, good guys (and gals). Believe me I don't like feeling this way about you, but you really wind me up with some of the stuff you post.

So it comes down to you wanting to make a personal attack and nothing about if a dream is OK led down on its side. Nuff said.

Not fuelling the fire here but a cartomizer has a couple of layers of polyfill to absorb juice and feed the wicks..The dream has none...
It is in no way like a rebuildable version of a cartomizer in a tank, jibes aside..It's fact..
The only similarity is the way the air flows in and out..But then every other atty has the same basic airflow pattern, except for genesis attys..

I don't know about a dream laid down, cos I don't intend to try it, I wouldn't lay any tank atty on its side. Happy?
