I'm sure the mini novas will be fine - I very much doubt if mirage would have changed the CE4 and the ego battery other than putting their logo on. You could check if you want by asking mirage if the connection is 510. If you get a mini nova then it is worth getting a plinth to go with it - type B - www.vapeescape.co.uk/dct-plinths~324 makes it look better and, according to some people anyway, improves the draw. Don't be tempted to go looking for the cheapest supplier - there are rip-off copies out there. Vape Escape are fine.

Giles Thanks for the video, no ive not been dry burning them ive just been leaving them in a dry sunny window for a few days. Varied voltage sound like it could help . roscopecotrain Ratio wise roughly 1 3rd mentol and 2 3rd something else (so B&H pineapple ect). Yes possibly a new kits too.....think im getting the bug even if im not yet 100% happy with this vaping malarky .

Welcome to the forum Yorkshirelass.
Swill the clearo around to ensur the wick is always wet. Having a few of clearos on the go with different flavours in helps me. Your tastes can change during the day Menthol normally sorts all problems out for me, but its not an all day vape. I really envy those who have found an all day vape as it would make life so much easier.

I'm pretty sure that the batteries you have are rebranded Egos so will have a 510/ego threading so will be fine with the Mini Nova They certainly look to be 510/ego threaded, but not sure about this, from the web page: Is this a little ' marketing fibby'? as the charger looks to be VERY similar to the 2 (different branded) one I have. The clearos certainly look to be the same as mine. The batteries are only 650mah, so I think their claim on longevity is possibly a touch over-zealous - how often do you charge your batteries yorkshirelass? It may be that you are not enjoying it so much, when the battery is lacking power? As for a different clearo, no one has mentioned the EVOD yet -also a very popular clearo, but a bit like marmite i think - you love them or hate them. Personally, I love mine - might be worth a try? Try different flavours of juice

Right so a mini nova seem to be a possible way forwards, great stuff! think i might also get an EVOD, would i need anything else with the EVOD? pinths ect? zeldamum yep im envious of the hubby he has totally found what he likes straight away! think it helps that there are about 12 of them at his work whom have all given up the ciggys and are vaping, so they all try each others new flavours .

EVODs fit straight onto the ego fitting - no plinth/adapter needed

hard to tell exactly what your problem is lass, some good advice given here though, if you screw the clearo on too tight it will push either the center pin on the battery down or the pin on the clearo up, either way causing it not to connect and not fire, not yet the problem here methinks, but if it is screwed down too tight it will also restrict the airflow causing you to have to pull harder on it. Burnt taste, either poor wicking, coil gunged up (dry burn) or too high a voltage, goes with too low a resistance coil for the given volts, confused yet ?lol So clean it dry burn and don't screw it on too tight, if that don't work then upgrade and bin it, the clearo not the battery hth.

Try different flavours of juice Hi Fred, the batteries i believe are just standard EGO ones from what ive seen online, i bought a cheap blister pack from paradise vapes for a friend to try and the batteries look the same to me! charge wise they last almost a working day, so about 8 hours (ish) but yes youre right there is deffo a difference when the battery starts to run down. Just having a look at the EVOD now......very pretty!!

Confused!! erm yeah just a little bit! haha (tho in fairness its not hard to confused me lol ) but i get you....i think , thanks. Think part of my problem may be that ive not actually cleaned the clearo's properly, ive just been using clean warm water.

Yorkshirelass, it can be as expensive (or as cheap) as you want it to be I used to smoke on average, 50 cigs a day , so as you can imagine I'm a heavy vaper but it only costs me about £10.00 a week

I would def give them a soak overnight then in either vodka or a denture tablet. Rinse, dry and then try again. If they are super gunked up then denture tablets work great, i use these www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=261138416. Please make sure wick is completely dry before you use them again. Chuck them in the sun or on a radiator to dry. As for as expensive, yes it can or it can be kept cheap. with the evic i just ordered and tube set we have just broken even but that is only because the oh never wants anything new apart from juice lol.
