Thanks blakey might ruin the bank and try and pick one up from cv9 on Monday then if buy any chance they haven't already sold out. Anywhere other vendors that stock them? www.intaste.de www.digitalsteam.deWorth a look, but cheaper to get them from cloud 9 due to postage prices

Do you need to use non-resistance wire on them? Stew at the Juice Kitchen also makes ready wires for the Odysseus/Nautilus etc . . . though he's currently OS. But that's also an option if you don't fancy making them your self Kirrie. www.juice-kitchen.co.uk/Wires/cat1723044_1876070.aspxI also like the Spheroid . . . it's a doddle to set up.

I've been pondering the same question for weeks, and still can't make my mind up. If they did a 'Spheroid Maxi' in 22mm it would be a different matter. It does seem to be aimed at being used on a piccolo or other 14xxx sized mod.

I've read some reviews complaining the nautilus can be a bit 'gappy'. I'm guessing a mod with an adjustable centre pin on the top cap would help to alleviate this ?

There will always be a gap with the Nautilus/Terminator..You can minimize the gap but can never eliminate it unless you buy a Oddy V1 cone..
The only other solution is to buy a Oddy V2 base and ceramic + holder and use the tank and mouthpiece from the Nautilus/Terminator..

If its the length of the 510 and pin could that not be shortened with some wet n dry ? Much like Super-Shiny with his bottles, gaps and things like that would leave me in a cold sweat and unable to sleep. I'm not a ferocious hand scrubber, but do suffer somewhat with OCD.

The 510 connector on the base sits on a raised portion to ensure airflow to the 510 connector..You cannot grind this down or your connector will just fall out leaving a great big hole.. Nothing to do with the pin or length of connector. These things can be easily sorted. The Oddy V2 replaced this design with a flat base and slots machined to the extremities. Basically similar to the drawtube top cap design but with a male connector allowing the atty to screw in flat. Unfortunately the Nautilus/Terminator V2 did not emulate this and only copies the Oddy V2 ceramic holder which is not really a worthwhile upgrade. Having said that the gap can be minimized on the Drawtube Smart and it's not an eyesore. Mine: and 300's: (see the gap between the Spheroid and the Roller)

If you are using a mod with ego threading like a vamo then you can use a plinth, that will allow you screw the nautilus down flat and secure and turn a large gap into a more eye friendly ledge
