yeah it looks the same as the removed wick and coil but after just a few drags

It seems like it just isnt wicking properly because of the PG/VG mix or strangulation, cant think of anything else

You know when you put the centre post thing on top of the wick, try leaving it about 1mm off the normal pushed down position and see if it is any better........long shot, but may show up some strangulation when it is pushed all the way down.

hmm, how would it become strangled? it's not been rewicked

bunged up with some sort of residue maybe? If the liquid is a bit too thick it may show that up as well

earlier i tried taking the top wick off, it produced more vapour but didn't really change the taste. i'll try with the post looser, but will it not cause gurgling/ leaking?

It`s a suck it and see kinda thing lol, it might give some more clues though, just a mm though

Gutted for you danny. Just caught up with the thread. Normally burnt taste is either not enough juice getting to the coil or to high volts or watts. I cant see or think what else it could be as you have done everything so far.

When do your new heads turn up?

Evod is the same as the Protank, use a paperclip to keep the wick straight:

i've just used some tweezers to make sure the coil is all spaced evenly, so i'm going to try that and see if it wicks properly
