I have now sussed out what the problem was I think. The spinner for some unknown reason was turned up to 4.8, I can only think it must have burned the juice that was in there, I cannot now get that vile taste out of my mouth..............Yuk.....wont be doing that again in a hurry

Oh no, what a shame Mary. Sometimes new heads taste a bit funky until you've had a tank or two of juice through them. If it was a burnt taste, it should clear now you've turned the spinner down from warp factor 5

still tastes a bit strange but nothing like it did. Im wondering if it damages the heads when you have it so high, or will the head be ok? I hope so as its a new one

The head should be ok, the silica & wire are designed to take higher temps then anything one of our batteries can throw at them which is why we can dry burn them . . . but the juice can't. Like you said you've probably burnt the wee bit of juice that was in the wick at the time, and like any powerful taste it will linger a while but it should flush through eventually, it's just whether or not you can stand it
