Im seriously debating if i should get a cobra or an ac9. Only just got into genisis style attys in the last few weeks using an aga-t2 and an RSST. after a few teething problems got them both running sweet and cant believe what iv been missing out on. But now i that im getting to grips with rebuildables i want to step up to a high end one. Been looking into cobras and ac9, want some advice from people who have them, or anything better

I'm assuming your talking about the genuine Cobra & not the cheap copy "chobra" I have a Cobra but I actually prefer the draw on the Aga-t, I find the draw on the Cobra to be a little lighter, not airy just lighter but there's really not a lot in it. Think the Cobra is easier to wick & coil, less temperamental then the Aga, but again saying that I have the original screw top Aga's & I think they moved the wick hole closer to the center post on the revised versions. Quality on the Cobra is A1+ & very light just the full RRP that spoils it a bit, got mine off the classies so saved a bit, you might want to put a shout out see if anyone's got one they'd be willing to part with now that the Kayfun, Nautis & AC9s are flavour of the month. Don't have an AC9 so can't comment, not sure if Greigster has/had one, if not I'm sure someone else will be along.

I have a kayfun mini v2.1 i got last week but i dont like it to be honest so i would partx that, ill have to have a look. I think the draw on the aga is probly as tight as id like to go, heard the ac9 i quite an airy draw but the cobra looks alot better in my opinion

My Cobra is now my OH's back up for his Cobra cos he thinks the draw on the Aga is too tight, they are definitely very smooth can hardly tell your vaping IMO If you've a Kayfun to partx should give you a fighting chance of finding something

Sorry, never had a Cobra or an AC9. I have moved away from genesis style atties and only use silica now. What is it that you dislike about the Kayfun? I have had a couple of Kayfun 2.1`s for a good while now and I liked them but couldn't choose between the Kayfun and the Spheroid for vaping quality as they were so close.
Then only a week ago someone on the Cloud9 forum advised trying 1mm. Ekowool. I had been using 2mm. Ekowool for a while but since ordering the 1mm. it is like night and day. It seems that with the Kayfun, less is more as far as wick goes.
Yesterday I received a Kayfun 3.1 and that is also great with the smaller 1mm wick.
It just might be worth giving your Kayfun another go using 1mm Ekowool.

I have all the devices mentioned...hold on I sold the AC9. Anyways have used all of them and now own 3.
There is something odd going on with the prices of secondhand Cobra's. I live in the States and you regularly see them for $100, don't hold that against me I just live here but have a passport from over there missionary work if you will. Anyway that price is a steal for a Cobra.
That said.... don't be looking for a great leap forward in your vape. The RSST and AGA T2 are really good devices and while the Cobra is better made etc and does perform very well the other 2 are not really that far behind. Have to admit that the RSST made me sell the AC9. The AC9 is a better atty but not 4 times better as represented by the price.
