Aga-S........very very pleased

Well i received my Aga-S today in the post from kirrielad (thank you). Lovely looking little re buildable. Small and petite.

Now this is my first stab at a rebuildable and being excited decided to have a stab at wicking it with silica wick and 0.2 kanthal following maccafan Aga-T silica wick thread. First coil came out at 2ohms (woop woop).

I have not got a needle tip bottle yet so just used it dripper style and wow it is amazing, great flavour from my Alchemist Vodka and Lime, plumes of vapour. I love it, i love it, i love it.

Looking forward to the oh coming home and seeing what it looks like on the silver spinner.

One question though, do i line the hole in the top cap up with where the coil is?

Oh and another question, what would the ideal voltage be for the 2ohm coil and can i use watts instead of volts?

Hole line up is down to preference I think imo the closer the hole to the coil the bigger the TH and I find as you use an igo-s or l the warmer the coil gets with use the bigger the TH so just mess with it till you get your sweet spot Rosco.

Funny enough, I rebuilt mine last night and after a massive leak due to not putting the plug in the other hole it's working fine now.
What problems are you getting?

Dry hits and lack of flavour mainly. Have rebuilt as per maccas guide. Now certainly producing lots of vapour but due to a nasty cold/chest infection and hayfever it's hard to judge flavour at the mo! Fingers crossed I've cracked it!

Just bought an aga-s as well. Going to have a go with mesh, silica and ekowool and compare the differences

Love my little AGA S.

I use it as a straight up geny. When I first got it was using solid wicks in everything and to be honest I thought the S was a dud.

A couple of weeks later I was playing with it and made up a hollow wick and....wow. Flavour and vape and really well behaved. This is sitting on my Sturm mod while waiting on Pandora. Have had a few attempts at replacing it with far more expensive devices and the S usually finds it's way back to the Sturm.
