what am I doing wrong?

Hi need help. I've a mini zmax a v max and an itaste vv I usually use iclear 16 tanks with them and they've been great. I recently bought a few bigger tanks like the kanger pro and the x6. So I filled them up let them sit for a while but they both taste burnt. I'm so disappointed. They're great looking tanks. And they first few vapes are brilliant then the burnt taste. I know it's not the juice cause it's fine on my iclears. Please help!!! Am I doing something wrong?

What setting have you the Zmax on and what are the ohms on your coils in the tanks Xtc?

7 watts 3 volts. It's the coils that came with the tanks. The kanger is 2.3 omhs. Not sure about the x6. Read on here that they take the novas coils as well. So I've changed it to a nova tank

From my memory the Kanger and it's pre-done wick/coil that comes with it does not wick very well, dries out quite quick, that's why i re-coiled it and it worked like a dream.

The X6 is probably like most of the top coil clearo types Xtc, in that you need to give the eliquid inside a swoosh round every so often to keep the coil wet.

Does your Zmax have a RMS/Mean setting? If so is it on RMS?



Ps: Looks like you're not the only one getting burnt hits with the X6 supplied coil if that's any consolation.

Yeah it does have the rms setting and it's on it.
